Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to every order placed through order.veganstreetfood.co.za ("the ordering site"), operated by Vegan Streetfood ("we", "us"). By placing an order you accept these terms.

Who we are

Vegan Streetfood is a plant-based food business trading from its branches in South Africa. The ordering site lets you browse our menu and pay for food to collect from the branch you select.

Orders and collection

• All orders on this site are for collection from the branch you choose. We do not deliver.
• Preparation only begins once your order is confirmed — either after successful card payment, or when you select pay at counter and arrive to collect.
• You may schedule collection for a later time or date. Scheduled orders are prepared to be ready close to that time.
• We may decline or cancel an order if an item is out of stock, the branch is closed, or we cannot prepare it safely. Any amount already paid for a declined order is refunded in full.
• Please collect within 30 minutes of your order being marked ready. Food left uncollected past closing time cannot be kept or remade free of charge.

Prices and payment

• All prices are shown in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable.
• Card payments are processed on a secure hosted payment page by Paystack. We never see or store your full card details.
• Card orders that are not paid are automatically cancelled after 30 minutes.
• Pay-at-counter orders are settled in person when you collect.

Menu, allergens and nutrition

All our food is plant-based. Allergen and nutrition information on item pages is provided in good faith as a guide. Our kitchens handle nuts, soya, gluten and sesame, so we cannot guarantee that any item is free from traces of an allergen. If you have a severe allergy, please speak to staff at the branch before ordering.

Accounts and loyalty

• You can order as a guest or with an account. Accounts are secured by a one-time code sent to your email or WhatsApp number, and optionally a password you set.
• Loyalty points are earned on completed orders and can be redeemed against future orders. Points have no cash value, are not transferable, and may be withdrawn or adjusted if an order is refunded or if we detect abuse.
• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details private.

Reviews

Review comments you leave are shared privately with our team only; publicly we display star ratings and averages. You may edit a review once. We may hide a review that is abusive, unlawful, or not about your own order.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Subject to that, our liability in connection with an order is limited to the value of that order.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published here when you place your order is the one that applies to it.
